Union Institute & University is pleased to offer the Salmon Foundation Scholarships in Support of Undergraduate Students for the 2020-2021 academic year. The Salmon Foundation has long recognized adult education as a critical priority in today’s society and has supported the undergraduate programs for over 20 years.

Eligibility:

· Enrolled in one of the following undergraduate programs:

o BA major Psychology

o BS major in Early Childhood Studies

o BS major in Maternal Child Health: Human Lactation

o BS major in Social Work

· Good academic standing

· Demonstrated financial need (based on 20-21 FAFSA)

· Enrolled in Fall 20-21 term

· Priority given to students from New England, but students from any region will be considered

Deadline for Submission: Sunday, November 1, 2020.

The amount of individual awards will vary depending on the number of applications received and the students’ needs. A small committee will review the applications and determine the awards.

Decisions will be made by November 25. Award letters will be sent after that date, and the Financial Aid Office will be notified at that time so that funds can be disbursed for the Fall 20-21 term. Students who do not receive an award will also be notified.
