All Rooms

The majority of the available rooms in the Cincinnati Center are equipped with a computer and projector set up.  In each of these rooms, there is a poster on the wall detailing instructions for their use.

There are a few instructions worth mentioning here:
  • Room reservations are submitted by accessing http://rooms (available only from the Cincinnati Center network)
  • The log in I.D. for all of the rooms' computers is "Unionlab" and the password is "Unionlab" also.
  • Do not shut down the computer.  When finished with the room, log off of the computer and turn off the projector by pressing the "power" button on the projector remote twice.

Second Floor Meeting Rooms - Rooms 209 & 210

The largest space available for reservation is the combination of rooms 209 and 210.  Sliding walls may be moved aside so as to allow a larger, single space.

The room may be set up with tables, allowing a capacity of approximately 60 people.  When set up without tables, the room has a capacity of approximately 90-100 people.  The space is equipped with a microphone system, including a wireless microphone at the center podium, as well as speakers on either side of the room.

There are also two projector screens: one on each side of the room.  The screen on the 209 side of the room mirrors the screen on the 210 side, allowing ease of view for attendees.  **A request may be sent to IT, prior to the date of the event, to have a video cable and speakers run to the room's center podium.  This set up works well for presenters who bring their own laptop.

In addition to the computer and projector set up, each room is equipped with a web cam, speakers, DVD drive, and a USB extension dongle for flash drive connectivity.  There is also a Polycom speakerphone in each room.

Computer Classroom - Room 109

Room 109 is a computer classroom equipped with a Polycom speakerphone, eight desktop computers, an instructor computer, as well as desk space and seating for six additional laptop computers.  The instructor's computer is connected to a projector with a display screen for the room.  It also has a web cam, speakers, DVD drive, and USB extension dongle for flash drive connectivity.  The student computers have Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, and Jenzabar EX installed on them.

Meeting Rooms - Rooms 124, 200, 211

Each meeting room is equipped with a Polycom speakerphone and a presenter computer.  This computer is connected to a projector with a display screen for the room, as well as a web cam, speakers, DVD drive, and USB extension dongle for flash drive connectivity.  Rooms 124 and 211 offer seating for 8-10 people, whereas Room 200 seats 6-7.

Classrooms - Rooms 118, 120, 209, 210

Each classroom is equipped with a Polycom speakerphone and a presenter computer.  This computer is connected to a projector with a display screen for the room, as well as a web cam, speakers, DVD drive, and USB extension dongle for flash drive connectivity.  Room 118 seats 10-12 people; however, it can be opened to include room 110, thereby allowing a total seating capacity (with tables) of approximately 24-30 people.  Room 120 has seating for around 14-16 people, while rooms 209 and 210 each offer seating for approximately 20 people.
